Aaron is a physician executive, digital health leader, and practicing endocrinologist focused on improving life for people with diabetes. A member of Tidepool’s founding team, he is Chief Medical Officer at Notable and Associate Professor of Medicine at UCSF, where he is a recognized diabetes expert and award-winning educator. He previously built UCSF’s 60-person digital health team as VP Digital Health, pioneered video visits and device data integration in diabetes care, and has authored 35+ publications on digital health and diabetes technology. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, and other national outlets.
