I've spent the past 35 years studying all aspects of diabetes therapies and complications for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. I am now also involved in the study of atypical forms of diabetes. Specific interests have included all aspects of diabetes technologies, inpatient diabetes management and appropriate glycemic targets, best use of insulin, best use of diabetes glycemic biomarkers and their use in conjunction with CGM metrics, adjunctive therapies in type 1 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity in type 1 diabetes, and the general treatment of diabetic kidney disease.
