I work with philanthropic supporters to advance Tidepool’s technology and expand its life-changing impact for people living with diabetes.

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in 1987 and grew up receiving care at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston.

I’ve spent my career in nonprofit fundraising, beginning in higher education at the University of Chicago and University of the Pacific before spending nearly a decade on the Leadership Giving team at Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF).

My connection to Tidepool began years before I joined the team. While living in San Francisco, I was introduced to Tidepool’s founders and the DIY diabetes community. That’s when I began using Loop—an experience that transformed how I manage T1D and deepened my appreciation for open-source, user-centered diabetes technology.

As VP of Fundraising, I have the privilege of connecting individuals and families with opportunities to support Tidepool’s work and make life with diabetes easier.

Outside of Tidepool, I enjoy tennis, golf, skiing, biking, good food, and travel. I live in Tampa with my wife, two boys, and our dog.
